There is a pebble beach at the base which offers the perfect setting for a picnic lunch. For those of you looking to rent a boat there is a marina within 5 miles away where you can rent a boat. A boat can be rented and brought right up to our dock for your stay. Although you feel you are away from it all the town of Greenville Maine is just 20 miles away where you will find a quaint general store, restaurants, tackle shops, boat rental marinas, ice cream shops and an old fashioned candy store and gift shop. Spacious Cabin located across the street from Moosehead Lake. The Cabin has a large wrap around deck with a beautiful view of the Lake. There is lots of living space that includes a large living room with high ceilings and is open to the kitchen. We have a small shared dock that is located a short walk from the cabin with a canoe that you are welcome to use. Also, we have access to a small beach that is less than a ten minute walk from the cabin. There is tons of great things to do in the area, which I have enjoyed as a kid and adult, that include swimming, fishing, hiking, white water rafting, boating, atv and more. I have never felt more relaxed then when I head up there and put the cell phone away for a couple days!

We have 4 Cabins on the property that are all tastefully decorated and newly remodeled, each cabin has 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath and can accommodate 6 people comfortably, eat in kitchen that is fully equipped with Keurig coffee maker, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, glasses and all utensils for eating and cooking. All linens and towels provided as well as free WIFI, cable TV, flat panel smart TV in living room. We are only an 8 minute walk to public boat launch and you can snowmobile right from our door steps to the nearby ITS trails only 1/2 mile away. There is also a gas station, country store and bar restaurant right across the street from our cabins.

This Lodge is a two story house, the first floor you will find a full kitchen with all the amenities, a open concept kitchen, dining and living room. A master bedroom with king size bed, spacious master bath. A second bedroom with a queen size bed. Also a very large wrap around deck. The downstairs stairs has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed, one with a double and a twin bed, a bunk room with one twin bed,bunk beds, and a queen pull out sleeper. It also has a full bath, and laundry area. Small groups of 4 or less will rent upstairs, if you party is larger then the downstairs will be unlocked. We are pet friendly, but there will be a fee. The lodge has a beautiful yard, plenty of off road parking. Wildlife is often seen in the yard. Snowmobile trails, Atv trails, hiking trails, boating, kayaking, swimming are all close by. It’s also a great area for hunting. Near by are 3 restaurants, a convenience store, bar and grill, pontoon rentals, guided fishing trips, snowmobile rentals, bait and tackle shop. Getaway to Rockwood, Maine with this wonderful newly built ranch. Last camp on a dead end road, so very quiet area. NO PARTYS and a 5 person limit without permission first. This 750sqft all season camp has and a beautiful kitchen and living room. It has a master bedroom with a Queen size bed and the second bedroom has 1 full size and 1 single bed. There is also a full in a pull-out couch in the living room. Both bedrooms and the livingroom have flat screen TVs, all with Netflix, Disney Channel. Perfect for a family of 5 with a fire pit with free camp wood , walking distance to the lake/ public swimming area or public boat launch and room for plenty of parking. This is a very quiet area. Many areas to hike, brook fish, fly fish, boating, snowmobile, and ATV. Walking distance to the Kineo shuttle for access to hike or golf.You will not be disappointed with your stay! We do allow dogs but you MUST KEEP THEM IN YOUR YARD, leach them if you must AND YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MESS THEY MAKE. If you want to dock you boat on the Moose river at the mouth of the river its $15 a day, $40 a weekend or $75 per week. Or you can put it in and out at the boat launch just down from the driveway for free. Four wheelers can ride to the trails right from the yard. Loft has a queen size pull out sofa.The cabin is situated approx. 1/4 mile upriver from the mouth of lake. Cell phone and internet available. Great room has cathedral ceilings, large windows, a loft and a pellet stove for chilly evenings. Fully equipped kitchen, tv/vcr/dvd, washer/drier. There is a gas grill and picnic table for cook-outs on the large wrap around deck overlooking the Moose River. A fire pit is in yard. Our place is on the shore of Moosehead Lake across from Mt. Kineo. You’ll love this place because of the coziness and rustic feel. This camp is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Guests can use the grill, enjoy an outdoor fireplace and tie up a boat at the dock. Guest safety is extremely important to us and our family. We are following CDC guidelines with respect to cleaning and disinfecting and offer a very private setting perfect for social distancing. We ask that if you have been exposed to the virus or are showing symptoms, to please contact us immediately so we can discuss cancelling your stay. There is a fire extinguisher hanging on the wall by the back porch. There is a first aid kit under the sink in the bathroom, along with Benadryl and acetaminophen. There are three smoke alarms in the house (one is a carbon monoxide detector). These are battery operated and should NEVER be tampered with. Canoes/Kayaks – There are two canoes and two kayaks for you to use, located at the camp next door (kayaks by the camp, canoes down by the point). Life jackets and paddles will be located on the porch next door. It is imperative that you wear your life jackets at all times and use extreme caution and diligence when deciding to boat on this lake. If there are any white caps, we would not advise attempting to boat. This lake demands respect and caution. Gas grill – You are welcome to use the gas grill for cooking. The fire pit out front is available to use however, you should bring your own fire wood. You are welcome to use the point located on the adjacent property for swimming. Just a short walk down towards the public boat launch is a small beach for swimming and is more suited for young children. Just to the left of that beach is a private dock (WHITTEN) which you can use during your stay. The heat pump on the wall is for heat and cold air. Slide the remote control face down for the controls. There is a fan in the back utility closet. There is good wifi service and a smart TV. The password is provided at check in. Things you might want to bring: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, fire wood, water (gallon jugs), all food & drink, sunscreen, bug spray, camera, shampoo and toiletries, hair dryer, and laundry detergent.
